Meet Our Designer

Jenny Levitsky

Jenny Levitsky’s career as a Commercial and Residential Designer began after decades of experience as a professional designer in  industries ranging  from stage and theater design to Concert promotion design to designing in the film and television industries.

While studying stage and set design in college, she landed a core role as one of the backstage and dressing room theme designers for Bill Graham Presents where Jenny worked at  hundreds of concert events and venues, working with iconic artists like the Rolling Stones, Madonna, The Grateful Dead and The Who and such large scale collaborative events including Live Aid and We Are The World. Then later her extensive background in the entertainment industry as an expert in theatrical set design earned her an Emmy Award in Set Design in 1996, and a nomination for a second Emmy in 1997 for her work with Brian Henson Productions.

Jenny’s extraordinary thumbprint on artistic style also led to hospitality design, working with Michael McClernon, formerly the  head chef of the Bill Graham catering team, helping design his first restaurant, La Paloma. Jenny went on to design the 19th Ave Diners upstairs bar, fashioned after Hunter S. Thompson, as an old world library hangout as well as the tropical themed interior at the Oasis, a San Francisco night club and assisted with the conception, look and space planning for the Josie Restaurant in Santa Monica, named and owned by world famous chef, Jose Le Balsh.

Ultimate Designs (previously Wilkinson Designs) was founded in 1985 after Jenny (then Wilkinson) completed her undergraduate studies in interior design, film and theatrical set design. After moving to the Northern California foothills in 2010, her focus became more specific to residential and commercial projects. Ultimate Designs specializes in interior architecture, overall home remodeling,  kitchen and bath design, new home design/build projects as well as commercial and hospitality design- specifically restaurants, storefronts and wineries.

Jenny has the ability and knowledge to create your vision from concept to reality with the use of Chief Architect, a CAD program that enables her to show clients 3D photo like renderings of her design options before any work has started. Jenny prides herself as a designer that not only creates unique, one of a kind designs for your project, but also uses her vast experience as a specialist to make sure that the design of your project is functional and fits with your lifestyle, whether it’s a chef’s kitchen for your home or designing  a thematic environment for your commercial or hospitality project.
