This Lake Tahoe new home was a design/build project on the South Shore. The client wanted a rustic but modern style home that felt warm but had current design elements.

The open kitchen great room has a large island with a down draft ventilation so they could have a large chandelier over the island. The transom windows on both the front and back of the house allow the beautiful Tahoe sunshine to stream through the great room. The counters are leathered black granite with a real stone veneer back splash and open shelves made of Hickory to match the custom Hickory cabinets.

The bathrooms have ceramic vessel sinks and pebble stone for the shower floors. Wrought iron hardware, fixtures and lighting round out the rustic modern style.
